Body Island è una performance itinerante sul tema del rapporto tra l’uomo e l’isola . Un’immersione poetica in un percorso spaziale ed emotivo , nel quale il pubblico ha l’occasione di attraversare, percepire, sentire, osservare, conoscere alcune tracce dell’intimo rapporto tra corpo e insularità.

Danza , Video, e Fotografia sono le voci narranti attraverso le quali il visitatore può cogliere questa relazione unica, grazie ad una creazione artistica site-specific che prende vita grazie alla specificità e alla complessità di segni che la natura dell’isola offre.

Un quadro nel quadro, in un dialogo multimediale sulla bellezza, la luce, il tempo, la fragilità, l’anima e la carne, entrando e uscendo da verità e finzione, realtà e poesia.

Body Island is a traveling performance that focuses on the relationship between man and the island. A poetic immersion in a spatial and emotional path, that gives to public the opportunity to go through, perceive, feel, observe, and know, some traces of the intimistic link between man and insularity.

Dancing, videos and photos are telling voices, that help the visitor to catch this unique dimension of relationship, thanks to a site-specific artistic cration, that comes alive by virtue of peculiar and complicated signs that island’s nature can offer.  

That’s a picture in the picture, a multimedial dialogue about beauty, light, time, weakness, soul and flesh, going in and out truth and fiction, reality and poetry.
